PDF Printer in Gutsy

Printing to PDF isn’t setup by default in Gutsy, but it’s easy to implement. Just follow this guide.

  1. You’ll need the cups-pdf package, so run this command to install it if you don’t have it.
    sudo apt-get install cups-pdf
  2. Open the Printer Configuration window.

  3. Click New Printer.

  4. Select Print into PDF File, then click Forward.

  5. Select Generic, then click Forward.

  6. Select Generic PDF File Generator, then click Forward.

  7. Enter a Description, then click Apply.
