Transition Progress Update

My transition to Ubuntu continues to be a good experience. Everything about my laptop just worked out of the box. Bluetooth, WiFi, Sound and Video all worked perfectly with no modification or configuration. I enjoyed similar success on my desktop system. The only hitch there is that, even after installing the required package, the NetworkManager applet doesn’t seem to want to let me create a VPN connection to my office. I’ve posted on the Ubuntu support forum about it, and hope to have a solution soon. This issue still pales in comparison to the steps required to connect to a PPTP VPN in Fedora. So far, I still feel pretty good about my decision to switch.
